Seed Funding Round

Raise $450K from aligned angel investors to fund the build. This is where you come in.

Stage Two

Build the Platform

Develop the full bloo platform — subscription engine, artist dashboards, catalog storage for songs and samples, and the artist-to-artist collaboration pipeline.

Stage Three

Second Round — Artist Activation

A second investment round funds paying mid-tier musicians and producers to use and actively promote bloo to their audiences. Artists become our most powerful marketing engine.

Stage Four

Marketing and Organic Growth

With artists promoting the platform to their existing fans, growth becomes self-sustaining. Every musician on bloo has a direct financial incentive to bring their audience with them.

Why This. Why Now. Why Me.

I started piano lessons at 5, cello lessons at 11, singing and songwriting and guitar at 16, music production at 27 and mixing and arranging at 30. Never have I taken a rest or looked back, and with countless compliments of my songwriting and music later, I still am living in a tent as a disabled, houseless musician. And I know that this is not my own fault — so many friends have chosen to work remedial, joyless jobs out of necessity instead of gifting us with their beautiful music and art. So instead of working at something I do not enjoy that does not uplift our culture, I choose to be the change I wish to see. To start a website that is a movement in and of itself — a hub for artists like myself to find refuge and be supported by our fans easily, and connect with each other and use our precious time to build and shape our culture and shine in beauty and splendor. No longer will we hide in the musty algorithms of Spotify, begging playlists for scraps. No longer will we have to be actors, directors, screenwriters, and innovators of marketing on social networks just to be seen. No longer will we hear from our friends and family: "Why don't you become a doctor? Or a lawyer?" Because they will know — Bloo is here.
